On completion of this course the student will understand the various types and definitions
of abuse. The nurses role in the different forms of abuse, signs and symptoms to look and
nursing obligations R/t Domestic Violence.
- Death and Dying
The student will have a better understanding of death and dying, They will have the knowledge
of the stages and paths offered to all of us. The student will have the ability to look and
death and find a place that they can put their energy into to avoid nursing burn out.
- Nutrition and You
The student at the end of this course will be able to identify multi aspects of nutrition.
The student will have an understanding of the importance of good nutrition and what nutrition is.
They will understand nutritionís relationship to the disease processes and the areas of diet
that can help heal us and prevent the possibilities of disease the health care workers role.
The purpose of this course is to educate and instruct the health care worker in the
understanding of the Alzheimerís patient with new advanced modalities.
To enhance the knowledge base of the student and help with the care and
compassion of the AD patient.
On completion of this class the student will have a better understanding of hepatitis, it's
causes, it's treatments and the many dangers involved with it. Nursing will understand
their importance of the prevention of this disease and their role in the care of the
patient with hepatitis.
